Livewire / Double Cross shirt collaboration round III

Photobucket

Apparently people seem to like this design, we instantly blew through three dozen of the first colorway, four dozen of the second colorway and we're now on to our third. This time around we've switched it up a little and have gone for a bit of a departure from the first two runs. For version three we went with a vintage navy blue shirt and a faded deep red ink. This run is for four dozen.

Again, these shirt are one-sided, printed with super-soft, vintaged ink (16" across) on a navy blue, premium tri-blend track tee (50% Polyester 25% Cotton 25% Rayon.) The shirts are pre-shrunk, extremely soft, and fit like your favorite 20+ year old tee.

So if you're interested, follow the link below or click on the sidebar ad and get your order in quick before this batch sells out. To anyone that got in an order for the second round of shirts, they will be shipped by the end of this week, so keep an eye on your mail box. And if you were looking for XXL, we've added a few of them again. Thanks. -Tim DCXX

  3. Fuuguuuuck, that's a hot color combo but I just dropped $30-some on some FEAR and UK Subs shirts and I gotta get another guitar and...and...and...

If Sm is around tomorrow I'll take it as a sign to eat less next week and just buy.

  4. Can anyone verify if TIH for Friday is sold out. Will there be tickets available at the door?

    Thanks

  5. sorry, am i the only one who thinks this is getting old? purposely making rare shirts with each subsequent version being a slightly bigger press run is amazingly egotistical. i'm sure you guys will try to justify it but really, why the changes in color and slightly larger quantity every week or two? after the first run, you could see the shirts were selling so either keep pressing equal amounts of new colors or bigger amounts of the same colors. i dare you to redo one of these first two colorways exactly the same. you won't do it because this frenzy to get these lame shirts is feeding your ego.

  6. Kent McClard: wow, all these years later and you are still really annoying.

  7. @ Anonymous : Well, at least Kent's not writing anonymously.

Kent : I missed the first batch, and glad I had this one knowing it would support DCXX for the great work. I don't see where's the ego and there's no big profit made out of these shirts.

  8. Maybe you guys should make Chung King can suck it 10 inches with different colored vinyl to go along with the shirts that you are ripping us off with

  9. First off, I appreciate the fact that Kent is not posting anonymously. He's entitled to speak his mind and call us out if he doesn't agree with what we're doing. That's all fine and good.

That being said, I can assure you that these shirt have ZERO to do with ego. I've been actively involved with hardcore for 23 years now and anyone that actually knows me, knows that I'm not one of these ego guys. I could care less... honestly.

These shirts were simply an experiment by us in terms of trying out a different printing style and a higher end quality of t shirt. The entire process was more expensive and complex than your average t shirt and we had no idea how people were going to take to it. For this reason, the initial run was kept to a reasonable size in the case that it backfired and we were left with a pile of shirts.

That first batch sold quickly, so instead of making it some exclusive thing, we simply ordered more shirts and at a larger amount. Switching up the color scheme makes it a little more interesting to us and we always had other color schemes in mind, so the continued demand gave us an excuse to experiment with these other colors.

Sorry if any of this bums you out, but I can assure you that selling a few dozen shirts worldwide isn't something that inflates or creates ego issues. Thanks. -Tim DCXX

  10. In all fairness to Kent, the intentional limited press thing has been going on for quite some time in the HC scene...anyone remember those Rain on the Parade 7"s? Not sure what the case is here, but it isn't like it never happened before.
